I've read several recent (2019) reviews of mash here on imdb. Mas*h (tv series 1972–1983) - cast and crew credits, including actors, actresses, directors, writers and more. Blake's wishes, burns requests an anti-aircraft gun to combat the north korean pilot who keeps attempting to bomb the ammo dump near the 4077th mash every day at 5:00 pm.
The 4077th is chosen as the site for a documentary featuring 'false heroics' about mash units in korea. I have to credit robert altman's breakthrough film mash for at least one thing- it's one of the few films from the 70's to look at those in war not as overly anxious and gung-ho military types, but average. The original film mash spawned 2 tv series, 'mas*h' and 'trapper john md'.
The series depicted life within a "mobile army surgical hospital" (mash) during the korean war (1950-1953). It was based on the novel "mash:
